Let's take a moment to celebrate the first two American heroes of 2012- hats off to Edith and Carolyn of the Republican Iowa caucus in Clinton County. It appears that on-the-ground reporting still does exist. We may have "Minority Report"-esque touch screen graphics, but please don't be fooled; the results of the 2012 Iowa caucus were dispensed to the American people by means of one old lady banging on the door of another old lady's house in order to wake her up and re-report ballots. Do yourself a favor and watch the live footage from CNN on youtube...I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you to Edith and Carolyn for your continued service and dedication to democracy. Without you, we wouldn't have known the Iowa caucus winner at 3 am instead of the next morning. Whew.
